WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking a proactive, passionate Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying and hiring outstanding educators who will help us uphold and expand the BASIS Curriculum Schools' exceptional reputation.

As we continue to grow, your mission will be to source, engage, and hire high-caliber teaching talent who align with our unique educational model and culture. This is a dynamic, high-impact role that requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and a deep passion for educational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source, identify, and recruit top-tier teaching talent in current and new markets.

  • Communicate the benefits and mission of BASIS Charter Schools to prospective candidates with enthusiasm and clarity.

  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies across job boards, social media, professional networks, and events.

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for immediate and future hiring needs.

  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience through clear, consistent communication and follow-up.

  • Partner with school leaders to align recruiting strategies with staffing needs and organizational goals.

  • Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.

  • Track candidate activity and communication through the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Contribute to recruitment marketing efforts and social media campaigns.

  • Represent BASIS Ed at hiring events, career fairs, and other networking opportunities.


Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience

  • Experience with proactive candidate sourcing and engagement strategies

Preferred:

  • Experience recruiting educators or in a K–12 academic setting

  • Previous agency recruiting experience

  • Understanding of the education sector and teacher credentialing
