BASIS Ed is seeking a Director of Fundraising located at BASIS Ed Central Office Scottsdale!
The role of the Director of Fundraising is to oversee the operation and success of the Annual Teacher Fund campaigns, manage the Arizona Tax Credit program, and support other fundraising initiatives that advance the mission and financial health of BASIS Charter Schools. This role is also responsible for leading and supporting a team of Annual Teacher Fund (ATF) Coordinators, ensuring alignment across campuses by maintaining strong communication with school leaders and providing strategic guidance to meet shared campaign goals. The Director of Fundraising will design and implement development strategies aimed at increasing both the percentage of families participating in the ATF and the overall fundraising dollars raised annually. This includes cultivating partnerships with school staff, parents, alumni, and the broader community to enhance fundraising outcomes and steward a culture of philanthropy across markets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Design and refine strategic approaches to increase family participation in the Annual Teacher Fund and grow total campaign contributions year over year.
- Develop and implement fundraising opportunities and gift solicitation strategies.
- Develop effective working relationships with school leaders.
- Monitor program outcomes and results in order to increase fundraising program growth.
- Lead regular communication and planning meetings with ATF Coordinators and school leaders to ensure alignment on fundraising goals, progress tracking, and messaging consistency.
- Train, manage, and support ATF Coordinators across regions to ensure they are well equipped to lead successful fundraising campaigns at the school level.
- Facilitate production of all print and digital marketing communication materials.
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure fundraising events run smoothly and achieve goals and objectives.
- Support BASIS Charter School leaders in the development and execution of ATF fundraising strategies.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university is required. Master’s degree from a
- regionally accredited college or university is preferred.
- Certifications and Credentials: None.
- Experience: 4+ years’ work experience in Fundraising, Development, Business Development, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field is required.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
