BASIS DC - Home of the Red Giants is seeking qualified candidates for an LEA Data Manager for the 2024/25 school year!

BASIS DC is seeking an LEA data Manager whose primary responsibility will be to manage data entry, integrity, and submission in the school's Student Information System (PowerSchool, and DeansList), and to verify data and compliance reports with the school’s oversight agencies (OSSE and PCSB).

Primary Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining, updating, and meeting all deadlines on the school’s compliance calendar
  • Supporting school and LEA staff with data requests
  • Facilitating all school compliance submissions
  • Attending all statewide training related to data management and distributing critical information to related parties.
  • Updating historical records to ensure accurate data compliance.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and valid fingerprint clearance
  • 1-3 years experience with PowerSchool, oracle database structure, and Excel
  • 1-3 years experience with JavaScript, Salesforce, SLED, and QuickBase is a plus!
  • At least 1 year of Education experience in a school setting is a plus!
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in education, data management/analysis, or related field.
  • Experience in program coordinator or data management is preferred.
  • Ability to provide guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems or process-related topics.
  • Ability to analyst information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Ability to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations and the environment will affect outcomes.
  • Possess strong communication skills, a high-level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
